Treatments you can do at home

Spot treatment
Ingredients: lemon and baking soda
◦ 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda 
◦ Squeeze a little bit of lemon juice into baking soda, so you can get a thick paste consistency. 
◦ It will start sizzling, once it stops sizzling apply the paste to your pimple (it is normal to sting for a few seconds)
◦ When applying, cover each pimple in a thick layer (note this is just a spot treatment, it is not meant to use entirely over your whole face)
◦ Keep the treatment on for about 30 minutes

Exfoliation
Ingredients: 12 grapes and flour
◦ Mash 12 grapes in a mixing bowl
◦ Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of flour into mixing bowl
◦ Mix both ingredients well together until you create a paste consistency
◦ Start applying the paste on your entire face
◦ Remove treatment after 15 minutes

Lip: hydrate and exfoliate
Ingredients: honey, sugar, olive oil and vaseline
◦ 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and
1/2 teaspoon of vaseline
◦ Start by mixing the honey and sugar, then add the vaseline to the mixture. Lastly add olive oil and mix all ingredients really well

◦ Take a dime size amount and gently massage the mixture onto your lips. Massage until you feel most of the sugar is dissolved
◦ Rinse off with warm water. You can store the rest of the mixture into a container, it should last for about a week

Hydrating treatment
Ingredients: avocado, olive oil and aloe vera
◦ Start by cleaning half an avocado, mash up the avocado in a bowl

◦ Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera into the avocado mixture, then mix all the ingredients really well
◦ Leave on for about 20 minutes then rinse off

Redness
Ingredients: oatmeal, honey and yogurt
◦ Mix ½ cup of hot water and ⅓ cup of oatmeal in a bowl
◦ Stir and let it sit for a few minutes until the oatmeal is plump and moist
◦ Add 1 tablespoon of honey and stir while the water is still warm
◦ Add in 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt into the mixture. Mix well
◦ Apply the mixture and leave on skin for 15 minutes
◦ Remove the mask by gently scrubbing off with a soft washcloth

Eye treatment: lighten dark circles and reduce puffiness
Ingredients: potato
◦ Start by grating couple of potatoes and extract the juice
◦ Once you extract the juice place it in the refrigerator for a little so  the juice can get cold
◦ Remove juice from the refrigerator and soak into two cotton balls, then place over closed eyes (making sure the cotton ball is fully covering your dark circles)
◦ Leave the cotton balls on your eye for 15 minutes, then remove and rinse your eyes with cold water

Brightening
Ingredients: strawberries, yogurt and honey
◦ Start by washing 3 strawberries, then cut and whisk strawberries
◦ Add 2 teaspoons of yogurt and mix once more
◦ Lastly add in 1 teaspoon of honey and mix all ingredients really well to get a smooth consistency
◦ Leave this treatment on for 15 minutes then remove

Anti-Aging
Ingredients: coffee, cocoa, yogurt and honey
◦ Start by adding 2 tablespoons of ground coffee and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Mix both ingredients in the mixing bowl
◦ Add 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt in the mixing bowl
◦ Add 1 tablespoon of honey and mix all 4 ingredients together
◦ Apply the mixture on your face and let it dry for 15 minutes
◦ Remove mask by gently scrubbing with a soft washcloth

Enlarged Pores
Ingredients: baking soda, apple cider vinegar and lemon
◦ Start by getting ready half a cup of baking soda
◦ Add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
◦ Squeeze a little bit of lemon to get some juice, add a teaspoon of lemon juice into the mixture
◦ Mix all ingredients and apply on the areas that you have enlarged pores
◦ Rinse treatment after 10 to 15 minutes with cold water

Damaged hair
Ingredients: egg, mayonnaise, olive oil and honey
◦ Start by getting one egg and separating the yolk from the white part. You will only need to use the yolk part of the egg
◦ Whisk the yolk with 1 tablespoon of olive oil
◦ Add in 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of honey
◦ Mix 4 ingredients together
◦ Apply this treatment on damp hair, section by section
◦ Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave on for about one hour
◦ Remove by washing your hair with shampoo
